ARMS AND LEGS ARE REAL HARD HAVE COURAGE FRIEND. Especially knees and hands, holy SHIT those are a pain. If you're lookin for resources, I heartily recommend Andrew Loomis' book "Figure Drawing for All It's Worth"! The PDF is free online. He's an artist from the 40s and 50s but he knows his stuff and he's helped me a lot.

This guy's arms look pretty good so far tho! His right arm has one too many bumps for the triceps, but on his left arm, the deltoid and bicep look the right size and shape. Good shoulder width too-- it always surprises me how much farther the shoulders go beyond the sides of the chest. One thing to also keep in mind is that the elbows are pretty much at the same level as the navel.

much love for the tips. i was planning on practicing, i will check it out.

OH shit that's sick. How do you get the edgelight on the planet to be all glowy like that?

Jadago responds:

Im glad you like it. I put a bright layer that is narrowly bigger behind the planets layer and shift it slightly to one side which causes the edgelight effect. In addition to that I use the burn function which is make it look glowy as well.

Krieg might be my favorite character in the franchise. Absolute legend.

Laxianne responds:

Aww. I don't know the source, but this is cute. It's super polished, too.

Giant sweater-- I approve.

RaynLikeRain responds:

Love a warm sweater on cold days~

This style kind of reminds me of MysterySkulls Animated. I like the cartoonish exaggeration

JoeWildezBuckaroo responds:

Thank you for your positive feedback about Onyx, even though that I am trying to influence the style of Frogger from the 2003 - 2006 though.

I saw the thumbnail and knew before I even looked at the artist that it was you. Your work has such a magnificently unpleasant grittiness that has a way of standing out.

AntonM responds:

Really?! That's sick, makes me super happy to hear that :)))

This is the only way the Doomguy could be more powerful-- if he didn't have a pet bunny, but he WAS THE BUNNY.

Kinda vibing with the funky background. Did you use dithering?

esotericwastecult responds:

It’s a filter in ibisPaint, the retro game filter to be exact
