Hmm, I'm intrigued. What's her story?

KlikiDominik responds:

i will tell her story in the right time ;)

I can't describe how much joy this gave me.

EmperorBismark responds:

I am glad I was successful.

Damn, this is quite a variety. The ones that grow where I live don't have this kind of variation. I guess I don't look around for mushrooms very much though.

mich-spich responds:

It's definitely something you noticed when wanting to look for them. A lot of forests have variety especially during the peak season in fall and early winter/ spring

OH shit, the grayscale one is straight heat.

Laxianne responds:

This one was the commissionned version ! I couldn't n o t post it <3

My man is truly down bad for Haley. I respect it.

JonathanPT responds:

I may be down but its only cause she was bad first

Holy SHIT the crazy perspective goes insane. No wonder you had to adjust it.

RaynLikeRain responds:

Thank you!! Surprisingly all the micro-adjusting comes in the final stage making sure the background blends nicely and doesn't stand out too much ^v^"

Wait there's a movie?? I read the modernized version recently because they had it at my local library and I just loved it. This is cute!

spacepaca responds:

Yeah it had two movies from the 80s and they are the best i loved watching them when i was little so cute but the second one is kinda creep cause there a little warlock named Kuruku he scared the crap out of me when i was little lol
but i still watch them to this day ꒰^„• ꈊ •„^꒱

How many pixels is this canvas, brother?

OneGrumpyLumpy responds:

41,610,000 before export

Posting art immediately after finishing it is a mistake I always make ;~;. For me art is something I only do when I'm on a creative high, so I have a tendency to fling it out there and then realize I forgot like... someone's ear, or my signature.

Also the background looks way better than 99% of other backgrounds I see on this site. I donno how long you spent on it exactly but the detail in lighting goes insane. I also don't know why but the light-dark gradient on the floorboards in the foreground looks especially good.

I know, there's a lot of other things on the floorboards that should really attract my attention BUT THE FLOORBOARDS.

RaynLikeRain responds:

The once over is the most important thing that I always underestimate TvT

I'm glad you like the background! Eventually when I post the timelapse it looks effortless but I assure you it was a fair few hours of adding rulers and toggling snapping and even then it still takes a lot of adjusting colours to get right

The wood grain was a lot of fun to paint on for sure though ^_^

Ooh, the detailing around the eye looks Real Good. How'd you do it?
